Paradigm Shift
‍
8 years ago, I had a series of seemingly ordinary yet profoundly eye-opening experiences that completely changed the way I approached business and life.
‍
It began one morning at a café near a bustling transport hub. Workers rushed by, trading their precious hours for a pay cheque. It struck me: this is the rat race most of us are caught in.
‍
A few days later, at a shopping centre near a welfare office on a Tuesday morning, I watched as people exited the centre and headed into the supermarket with trolleys.
Their lives seemed structured around the bare minimum—relying on welfare payments to stay afloat, with little room left for dreams or indulgence.
And then, a week later, I walked through the city at night after a function. In the shadows, I saw homelessness in its raw, unfiltered form—people fighting just to survive, struggling to afford even the basics of life.

Each of these moments tugged at me, forcing me to confront an uncomfortable question:
‍Does my business give me the freedom it promised, or am I worse off than those I just observed?
The realisation hit me like a brick. Despite owning a business, I was running myself into the ground. I worked 12-hour days, juggling every role—CEO, CFO, salesperson, admin—and worried constantly. I paid myself last, often barely enough to get by, while masking my stress and struggles from my family. Each night, I went to bed with the fears/concerns: losing money, clients, staff, or even the business.
I was the homeless man in a suit, the welfare recipient without leisure, the worker ‍with no clock-off time.
‍
That harsh clarity was my Paradigm Shift moment. That clarity sparked a complete transformation in my approach to business and life. It forced me to rethink everything: my goals, my strategies, and the very definition of success.

Today, I am here not just to share my story, but maybe guide you to your own turning point.
